Set in a traditional stone house, Guesthouse Caves is set in the heart of the village of Theth, in the Albanian Alps with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and greenery. The guesthouse also offers traditional fresh food and organic evenings with local music evenings.The winged song is called the instrumental singing of epic bravery songs. Along with the isopoliphonia – these songs – duets or groups of men, are among the most archaic of Albanians and unique in the Balkans. They are sung only in the mountains.

Song on the wing singing – this harmonization of the harsh voices of men dedicated to bravery is sung only in the high mountains. The reason is that in the absence of any musical instrument, the mountains convey the echo of men’s voices, multiplying and coloring it with other nuances. If this song were to be sung in a field – it would not have the grandeur it sings in the mountains. The men sing epic songs while standing, with their right hand on their ears to control their voice orientation. Previously, these types of songs relatively similar to the isopolitics of southern Albania have been sung by groups of men. In cases where the songs are sung by a duet of men, one makes the first voice and the other joins in the second sentence. Known both as a song and as a song on the wing, for decades now, these songs are rarely sung in our mountains. Among the best performers of this song until the end of the last century was Rrok Gjon Mark Vuji from the Hoti, Malesi e Madhe.
